To think that's it's bloody dangerous to have a dog "loose" in a moving car?

Just really what the title says. Driving behind a ford ka and dog bounding around back seat and between driver and front passenger seat. Crap driver too. So AIBU?

YANBU. I saw a stupid woman driving on the bloody motorway with a dog on her lap. So desperately dangerous for her and everyone else on the road. My dogs travel appropriately restrained in the boot (estate car)

I always have my dog in a crate when travelling although one time when travelling down to stay at my mum's for the weekend I looked in the rear view mirror and was stunned to see my Beagle sitting perched on our suitcases. I think that dd1 hadn't closed the latch properly so the door had opened, he did look rather smug that he had managed to get out his crate Grin
