I have book to go to a manga convention next month with my best mate and really looking forward to it because it is right near the end of my degree and I'm getting fancy dress together

The only problem is that my bezzie has invited her bloke. He doesnt like manga and taking the piss out of me is his passion. He calls it banter but it really gets to me sometimes (and I am not that soft, I can stick up for myself...I'm a trainee teacher ), I think it's more because she just lets him go at it whenever we see each other more than anything else and I know he will have a field day there.

I met some amazing people through this, we have all been friends for 7 years now. They came to my wedding from all over the uk.

We've all booked flights and met in Dublin and other uk areas.

I had been down having broken up with an ex when I decided to go to my first con... Alone. Best decision ever... Sometimes you have got to take a chance and leap in with both feet and paint yourself strange colours

Otaku I am hideously spoiled only child and my mum gave me the following options for my 21st:

Trip to Tokyo
Trip to new York
New car

I picked Tokyo
then my car broke down and I got a new car too

That's not even a stealth boast lol. It's a 'wooooooooo Hells yes' post

Gothson my pfb loves it too Birds he and hi sfinacee and various weird friends get the bus there usually which is fun given that it takes about 3 hours minimum and most people on the bus have no idea why the teenagers are blue and/or becorsertted and/or have fangs and black lippy on
