No I don't like the cut of the leg there MrsShitty that absolutely screams Granny or 1950s to me.

CountessChestyMcBoobdeLuscious · 27/04/2012 00:32

I love those style Mrs!

I wear alot of 40s/50s style clothing as they are really flattering, especially to the hourglass figure that I have. I love "big pant" bikins too!

CountessChestyMcBoobdeLuscious · 27/04/2012 00:34

Worra, total opposites I see!

I does depend on your figure though. boyish, apples or pear shapes dont look so good in that style as they need a defined waist for the look to work, hence why I like it as my waist is about the only good thing left on my knackered old bod :o

WorraLiberty · 27/04/2012 00:40

Countess I'm at the age now where I just chuck on anything and get on with enjoying the beach/swimming pool Grin

My DH once said to me (and don't tell him I think he's right!) that when you go on holiday/day out/pub/club or a party...you'll see people of all shapes and sizes just enjoying themselves and having a good time.

What's important is that we have a good time no matter what shape or size we are.

There's plenty of time to worry about how we look when we get back home...but for the love of God don't spoil a holiday/day out by worrying Grin

CountessChestyMcBoobdeLuscious · 27/04/2012 00:45

Oh I wouldnt let it ruin a holiday, but I would rather feel comfortable in what I am wearing.

that said, I cant remember the last time I wore a swim suit so it is rather moot!

JosieZ · 27/04/2012 00:46

It think you need v firm boobs for M&S cosi and bulgy thighs, as the skirt will hide it. I would choose the other one as I need support at boobs and have thin thighs.

WorraLiberty · 27/04/2012 00:48

I'm a t.shirt and shorts woman myself...then dive bomb the pool Grin

Mummy2FE · 27/04/2012 00:50

I think it is very cute, both the print and style.

I do wonder if it could begin to look granny-ish if you are a bigger size or your shape is thicker around the waist and hips though.

musicposy · 27/04/2012 00:53

I really like it. It's very low cut at the front, though I'm sure my boobs would fall out

CaramelisedOnion · 27/04/2012 02:22

oh you could wear one of these with it....

sorry OP, being a bit sarky there - I´m afraid I think it is vile :(

Petisa · 27/04/2012 02:31

Oh MrsShitty, killer swimsuit, perfect for a size 14 I would say. Thanks for website link!

MrsShitty · 27/04/2012 23:23

I think it's a nice cut too...especcially the classic print one...darkish but with a cute floral thing going on. It would only look grannyish on someone who had been frolicking around in one of the original versions back in 1955!
