ThatsEnoughHasHadEnough · 25/04/2012 05:45

Been awake since 3 and worrying about missing the early train to London! Fingers crossed I manage to stay awake through the conference.

FallenCaryatid · 25/04/2012 05:47

Time to have a break and a cup of tea, then starting to mark 32 writing books. Sad

Much sympathy to those who are poorly and v pregnant!
I'm up and awake in hospital with 11 hour old DD2. Missing hubby, plastic sheets, starving and after pains mean I've not had much sleep. DD2 has slept well tho! :)

Recall "elsathelion - I used to get the insomnia in my last pregnancy, it was the same time every night, about 4.30. I was 37 weeks and woke as usual at 4.30 and my waters went I hadn't moved a muscle, just lay there and they went - pop."

Me TOO - except I was 4am and more a slight trickle than a pop!!! Grin

Maybe its a hormone thing that ladies go into labour in the small hours when they are more likely to be in a safe place?

mythical · 25/04/2012 06:14

Just woke up sobbing after a really bad dream :( bloody pregnancy dreams!

2gorgeousboys · 25/04/2012 06:15

Congratulations Tinwe!!

I'm up and enjoying a cup of tea before I catch the train to London for a drinks reception tonight (work but should be fun).

mythical · 25/04/2012 06:18

Hope the poorly and pregnant people get some rest and feel better!

I've been up since 2am with 10 week old DD who just wouldn't settle, wish I'd have found this thread earlier

Tinwe · 25/04/2012 09:43

Thanks ladies :) Hopefully I'll get some sleep when I get home!

GinPalace · 25/04/2012 11:24

HateBeing - no not this morning I was up for an entirely different and much crapper reason this morning.

Thanks for the good luck though - I'll take it anyway as I still need some today. Grin

I was up at 4.00 wish I had thought to get on MN, laid in bed for ages listening to the wind and rain, something was banging outside keeping me awake and I was too wimpish to go out and try to sort it out, also would have got very very wet. Then kept hearing a low humming noise like something electric which I have had before and that annoyed me so I got up. went back to bed at 6.45 and slept until 8.00 but still feel a bit crap tbh
