Love him too, he is amazingly charismatic.

happyscouse · 24/04/2012 16:17

Awsome! Russell for p.m. he'd get my vote.

MagsAloof · 24/04/2012 16:18

Awesomely smelly, perhaps.

Greasy hair, skinny keans , looks manky and unwashed and talks like a pretentious twat.

YABVVVVVU

MagsAloof · 24/04/2012 16:18

skinny jeans

Sparklingbrook · 24/04/2012 16:21

Forget Cameron and Clegg. Clarkson and Brand for me. Grin

mayorquimby · 24/04/2012 16:27

"he did a good documentary once about the youth group of the BNP I think it was"

Was from his "RE: Brand" documentary series, it's called "Nazi Boy" and it's very good. Although Brand is during his heroin stage when he was making this series so some of the episodes take a turn at times.

VeronicaSpeedwell · 24/04/2012 16:31

YANBU, he is great. I don't fancy him, I just like having someone in the public eye who actually seems to think.

Tiddlyompompom · 24/04/2012 16:38

YANBU, he talks sense, and those who choose to ignore that seem to be judging the booky wook by it's cover... :)

However, haven't been watching the news lately, why is his Theresa May joke funny? I don't get it.....
"Who's next? Theresa May? She may not show up", he joked. Confused

TalHotBlond · 24/04/2012 16:40

He's very clever and I usually like him a lot but he comes across as a disrespectful dick in that clip. And look at the state of him, he could at least have put a suit on like everyone else in the room managed to because they aren't Russell Brand.

GwendolineMaryLacey · 24/04/2012 16:43

I'm with Hackmum. He's a twat plus everything she said. Whenever I see him I feel I need a shower.

Sparklingbrook · 24/04/2012 16:44

I think he's fab because he didn't put a suit on and conform TBH.

Siddhartha · 24/04/2012 16:45

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm i like. i like especially that he is so vocal about how he adores women.

Chandon · 24/04/2012 16:46

He is awful

Not awesome

Never was.

TalHotBlond · 24/04/2012 16:46

I just found it a bit rude and try-hard rather than "unconformist" tbh.

diamondsonthesolesofhershoes · 24/04/2012 16:47

I love RB!
Sometimes his behaviour reminds you of an overexcited little boy (like when he was cracking DAd's army jokes Grin) but I think part of his charm is that you're constantly waiting for him to put his foot in it.
He speaks well and he seems to be much more intelligent than a lot of people give him credit for!

Sparklingbrook · 24/04/2012 16:48

But if he did put a suit on everyone would take the piss because he was wearing a suit, so he can't win really.

TalHotBlond · 24/04/2012 16:50

I would've quite liked to see him in a suit... Grin Maybe I'm disappointed for my own reasons.

Sparklingbrook · 24/04/2012 16:51

Grin Tal.

Sparklingbrook · 24/04/2012 16:54

Ooh dear not sure about this suit

Bloodymary · 24/04/2012 17:34

I have just watched both of the clips and what he says is so true.

Does anyone know if this is the start of a campaign of some sort that he is behind.

As the Mother of a heroin addict I would love to know.

NarkedPuffin · 24/04/2012 17:39

I'd imagine his appearance was because he's a patron of Focus 12 (where he, Davina McCall and many others have gotten clean.) He was heavily pushing abstinence based rehab - even when that wasn't the question Grin

Bloodymary · 24/04/2012 17:42

Thanks NarkedPuffin

Bunbaker · 24/04/2012 17:47

I find him highly irritating, but I heard him on the radio today and was very impressed. Maybe just one or two young people will listen to him and make the right decision. So good on him.

bejeezus · 24/04/2012 17:58

What WAS rude was that test trying to undermine him because 'this isn't the royal variety gwarf gwarf' after he had just made important insightful comment on a serious subject

Humour is his skill, deadly dullness is theirs. Why shouldn't he present in his comfort zone?

Moaning about suitable dress, when he's talking about drug addiction? Hmm
