She is a great actress, wears what she wants, looks great and seems to be really sorted.

I think she's good friends with Sam rather than Dave. Maybe it's one of those situations where you're friends with a woman and just have to put up with their insufferable tosser of a husband coz it's part of the deal

She was also in 'Rik Mayall' presents, some time back in the 90s, playing a stripper. When asked what her tattoo was by a drunken stag-party bloke, she replied, in a borad Manchester accent:

Used to live near her. I was once in a very stressful situation (just split up from boyfriend, moving my stuff in a hired van across London on my own). Was in traffic jam and looked over she was in car alongside me. She gave me a massive smile for no reason and it really cheered me up! Plus Room WIth a View is my all time favourite film.

I don't mind about her, she's a bit of a posho so no surprise but I truly and honestly think less of Tim Burton for being his pal.

I'm a bit ambivalent about her - not sure why - love her looks, her dress sense and her acting . I think I thought she was a bit precious giving an awards speech once - a bit too luvvy. I think she's absolutely wacko though and hope I can grow old with the same level of carefree eccentricity.

I love her too and think she is one of the most beautiful women in the public eye.

I watched "A Room with a View" last week, actually (recorded it ages ago). I'd forgotten what an excellent film it is and I want to read the novel soon.
