Went shopping this morning. Always check my receipt as been strung lots of times with offers then don't get properly reflected when you pay.

Anyway bought some steak and kidney pies for DP. should have been £2.14 but when i looked at the receipt they had scanned through at 54p!

Not exactly a fortune but felt so happy!! Was tempted to go back in and buy up their stock but mum was due to bring DS home so i had to get back

I'd forgotten the joy of Tescos. Back in the old days (pre sprog) I used to print out the coupons for 4 pack lemon cola bottles, the coupons were for £2.49 but the coke cost £1.99 so I got 50p off the rest of my shopping every time I bought one. Bought quite a fair few of those. Then there was the Marie Claire coupons which got me free magazines with free body shop body butter I sold for a £1 a pop at the boot fairs, ahh happy days. I don't think they minded though - I heard that Tesco made £8 BILLION squidolas from all it's groups this last financial year Confused

I once went to Ikea and wanted to buy some of thoe long metal strips (name escapes me) - the kind that you put two vertically on a wall and a shelf goes between the two. I was a bit confused as to whether there was more than one in a box or to as it was very well taped up. I asked someone who worked there who was quite rude and looked as me as though I was a little crazy before telling me of course there was only one. So I took two whole boxes, got charged for two individual metal strips, got home and realised I had about 50! Totally useless freebie but I wasn't taking it back given Ikea was about 15 miles away and it was their mistake anyway.

I keep popping back on to see whether you've had a good telling off from morally outraged posters, and all you've had is a very polite rebuke from ragged who's hidden the thread.

I'm underwhelmed.

I was overcharged by 3 pounds in primark on Friday (I consider this to be a karmic response to my daring to go there). I suspect that all of the overcharging and undercharging evens out in the end

I can outdo the well known Swedish shop;) I bought 4 small tables for my flat years back and they were £40 each. We didn't realise until we got home and mum checked the receipt that they had only charged me for one of them, instead of four :)
About a year ago, I got 3 steps / stools for around the house and had put them on the till belt stacked up, as they had been in the trolley and yet again only one got scanned and charged for. No wonder their stock control is all over the place.
We also did remarkably well in Armani last year, totally by accident and were nowhere near the place when we checked bag contents against the receipts.
