Is it just me, or is Jessie J up her own arse?

I love her! She is a refreshing confident woman who knows what she wants.

I love her Grin she is so talented and writes amazing songs too.

Much better than a lot of other singers who are nothing but a set of vocal chords

FoofyShmooffer · 15/04/2012 22:02

The atrocity that was "do it like a brudda, do it like a dude" Hmm really coloured my view of her and the way she behaves on the voice isn't making me like her any better.

That said the latest song about a Domino or something is great.

LaVitaBellissima · 15/04/2012 22:02

Tom is the Louis Walsh of The Voice Wink

Watch Jessie J on YouTube before she'd been signed, her voice is incredible, and I am all for being confident in your own abilities Grin

I think that we should be proud of home grown talent, and proud of success in general.

WorraLiberty · 15/04/2012 22:05

I love Jessie J

She makes The Voice interesting too

usualsuspect · 15/04/2012 22:07

It seems to me that some people have a problem with strong confident women.

difficultpickle · 15/04/2012 22:10

I was disappointed that she used the 'pick me cos I'm a woman' line to one of the contestants.

LilyBolero · 15/04/2012 22:12

To be fair, the girl had just sung a song co-written by Will.I.Am, and what she said was that she would be able to help her as a woman in the music industry, as it was hard. Wasn't just 'you're a girl, I'm a girl....'

azzae · 15/04/2012 22:13

yanbu

HoldOnWoody · 15/04/2012 22:13

We should definitely be proud of home grown talent and success but it is true that Brits don't seem to like that. Brits tend to go for the underdog. That aside though, I believe JJ is extremely talented. She just gets on my nerves. I admire a lot of strong and confident women - even the odd diva - but not this one.

'Do it like a dude' was beyond annoying, however made me fall in love with Jessie J

difficultpickle · 15/04/2012 22:26

Look at the women that Will.i.am has developed though. I reckon he has a very good understanding of what it takes and J saying what she said just showed her to be rather ignorant of her fellow judge.

HoldOnWoody · 15/04/2012 22:33

That girl being plucked from the crowd is a set-up.

I actually like all the judges on The Voice

And Will just makes me crack up laughing...I think he'd be a lot of fun to work with Grin

FlightlessBird · 15/04/2012 22:37

YABU I like her! Yes there have been a few cringy bits but she seems fab.

Duckypoohs · 15/04/2012 22:55

I don't mind her, she can be a bit irritating but so are the other judges, Tom Jones constantly name dropping, Danny standing up and putting his arms up, Will.I.am being smug. It's odd actually I haven't watched a talent contest in years, but quite like the voice think the last one I watched all the way through was Will Young v erm the other one.

Moominhunter · 15/04/2012 23:01

yanbu, she irritates me, nearly as much as Will.I.Am - the fact that I wrote his 'name' properly irritates me. They all irritate me.

georgie22 · 15/04/2012 23:01

Dh calls Will I Am Dick U R! I think he's OK. I'm kind of hooked on The Voice.

FoofyShmooffer · 15/04/2012 23:03

Will I am has a cute little face. Like a CBeebies character.
I just want to shmoosh it.

I like The Voice on the whole.
Unlike the bloody XFactor it seems to have a sense of humour.

2shoes · 15/04/2012 23:05

yanbu
she is annoying
but so is MR dope.....what is it with that word

difficultpickle · 15/04/2012 23:06

I guess it is LA slang. I like Will.i.am. He came from a very rough childhood and remembers where he came from.

LoveHandles88 · 15/04/2012 23:17

yanbu.

ToothbrushThief · 15/04/2012 23:17

I like her

Rindercella · 15/04/2012 23:17

YABU. Love JJ.

I like The Voice. Makes a really refreshing change to see positive/constructive advice rather than the piss taking or total character assassinations of BGT or X Factor.

pinkpyjamas · 15/04/2012 23:21

I like her - young, talented, confident, ambitious - and not afraid to show it.
Holding her own in a male-dominated industry.
Shameless self-promotion hasn't done her any harm so far.

LittleMissMcFartyPants · 15/04/2012 23:24

YANBU she irritates me greatly!
