I have told my ex a bit of a fib. Sort of.

I have told my ex who is very annoying a slight bending of the truth WRT to Sunday so that I can see DP.

Well not really a bending of the truth. I have told him the truth. Just the way I told him was deliberate to give a slightly misleading impression.

AIBU?

'I told him that I wouldn't be in this afternoon.'

... And so he suddenly has to drop them at 7:30...

You can scream all you like

hathorinareddress69 · 13/04/2012 08:48

I was out yesterday afternoon with a friend for lunch - I was home by 6-ish

Oh and a certain young lady and I will be having Words - she should know better than to organise with her friend without checking with me (although I suppose she asked him so ... but she's 13)

If DP hadn't been away this week with work, I could have been down there or he could have been here.

Fuck that's what I'm doing the next time - going to his and hiding staying down there until the actual handover day so exH can't mess me around.

Is there a spare pair of MN balls anywhere?

not UR at all.

i think some posters might be underestinating how much of an asshole some exes become when they think the new partner is getting some attention.

my ex poked holes in all my condoms when he found out i was seeing a new boyfriend. jealous? him? nooooooooooo Hmm

You should definitely be away next time, and only returning at the point at which you are expecting the DC back.

What a complete and utter twat he is.

IAmBooyhoo · 13/04/2012 09:00

"I hate all this arsing around with withholding information - it's just a pain isn't it?"

ex does this too!!

is there a class they take in school that teaches them all this stuff?

PurpleRomanesco · 13/04/2012 09:01

hathorinareddress69 · 13/04/2012 09:01

I think it's all about control.

I may have told my ex he was controlling.

He maintains he's not he's easy going and it's me who is controlling.

hathorinareddress69 · 13/04/2012 09:03

Could you have gone to the police Boo - criminal damage or something?

OP posts:
IAmBooyhoo · 13/04/2012 09:24

i probably could have but his fingerprints would have been on them anyway (or that's what he would have said to the police) as they were the last of a pack we had opened when we were together. he has form for stuff like this. he used to deliver my parent's post and after we split up some of my mail was arriving at their house partially opened and with his signature on in. (he was a postie) he was given a verbal warning for that as the PO said there would never be any reason for a postal worker to make a mark on an envelope apart form the date stamp.

hathorinareddress69 · 13/04/2012 09:27

Shock just Shock Boo

oh there's loads of creepy shit he's done. climbed in through my living room window the day after we split up. i was in bed and heard footsteps on the stairs (it was in the morning). met him as he was halfway up the stairs saying he was just in to collect a few of his things.
