AIBU to think that a childminder should not invite six other children to go and watch everytime she changes her 5 month old grand daughters nappy? Or am I being a bit precious?

Oh, I see rhonda - I'm down South so they only count under 8s in our registration. Under 12s sounds impossible!

I did notice a definite lack of interest in my DD's soiled nappies, by the way Grin

WorraLiberty · 07/04/2012 12:50

OP how do you actually know this??

Aboutlastnight · 07/04/2012 12:52

I found I couldn't keep toddlers away when changing DD3's nappy!

Why would you need to wash the children's hands? They're not actually changing the nappy. Are they?

Never fails to amaze me the stuff that other people get bothered by

OP -Can you put your finger on why this made you uncomfortable because I am baffled. I imagine the children will get very bored of it so it wont last long but what on earth is the issue?

I saw a three year old being changed once on a street bench outside shops and thought it was verrry poor taste. Childfen need dignity, but this is a baby who doesnt give a stuff. Nothing particularly wrong with it.

I am a childminder and I find that the other children come into the bathroom when I am changing nappies and like to pass me a clean nappy to"help". Also little ones see each other on the potty and it encourages them to use a potty too. I think when they get to school age they should be taught to respect their own and others privacy.
