Not to wake my lazy DSs

10 and 12. They are still fast asleep and it's 10.30am. They should be up and doing something constructive shouldn't they?

DS2 has started getting up at 6:50 am since the clocks changed. He will be 1 next week and used to have to be woken to go to nursery! I'm not a morning person at all but DH is and never laid in as a teenager weirdo

DD1 was a VERY early riser as a small child - 5am starts were the norm for quite a while and I can remember the joy of the morning she finally managed to turn the TV on for herself...

I used to fantasise about when she was older and sleeping in and how I would go in there in the mornings and force her out of bed to make up for my disturbed sleep.

Of course I dont do it to her - I'm far too soft!!

My DS (10yo) slept till mid day the other week.

I even put it on here Smile

I think if they can sleep that long they need it!!

I never sleep late these days Sad

Why would you wake them up?

I have been known to leave ds (4) in his pit until he gets up at 10.30. If that's where he wants to be then that's where he wants to be and I get some peace
