It's only bad if you eat them all on Easter Saturday night and then tell the DCs that the Easter bunny is dead.

lesley33 · 04/04/2012 19:38

What the egg or the doll??

Chilenachica · 04/04/2012 19:38

Oh dear, I would never stoop so low as to eat the Easter eggs, but only because my DDs know me as the chocolate fiendBlush and so they would know even if I bought more. A bar of chocolate is a different matter. Sooooo easily replaced it's almost ridículos. Oddly, your recent meal choices have been the same as mine.

lesley33 · 04/04/2012 19:38

BHF - You genuinely mad me laugh out loud with that!

SparkyMcSparrowLaidMiniEggs · 04/04/2012 19:38

lesley33 · 04/04/2012 19:39

True sparky. £900 Shock

ilovedjasondonovan · 04/04/2012 19:45

My eldest DD is about to lose her first tooth, so I'm just going to let her scoff what she likes as her teeth will fall out anyway

monkeypuzzeltree · 04/04/2012 19:53

No, no not at all, my DD is 2 and won a great big chocolate rabbit on sunday in a hunt. She's forgotten it exists, she won't understand that she can't eat the whole thing in one go, so I've done the right parental thing ..... and ate it last night. I know, I am bad, but i am pregnant - it's ok too right?!

I'm absolutely not going to eat another one tonight...I'm sure you're not either OP Grin

BigHairyFlowers · 04/04/2012 20:18

Ahh it's fine if you're pregnant, that's how she learns to share with her little brother or sister!

BillyBollyBandy · 04/04/2012 20:20

My nephew sells his chocolate to DSIL and his Dsis. Enterprising I think!

Fairyliz · 04/04/2012 21:57

No make the most of it. My kids are teenagers and they ask for money now the bastards! I use to eat their eggs to save their teeth honest

wherearemysocks · 04/04/2012 22:01

That reminds me I must go to Thorntons tomorrow to replace the eggs gps left last weekend Blush

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 04/04/2012 23:48

My unreasonable DCs eat Mini Eggs and Caramel Eggs in front of me, because I'm still off chocolate for Lent. Neeeeeeaaaarrrllyyy there.

DS left a half eaten Caramel Chocolate Digestive "Just to annoy you Mother" Shock

I'm going to leave the b'stards.

sunnydelight · 05/04/2012 06:10

Well I've just eaten a chocolate bunny for lunch having read this thread and realised (when I went to see what I could snaffle) I had an extra one so it's ALL YOUR FAULT Grin

Chilenachica · 05/04/2012 17:38

70 giving up chocolate for Lent only works if you make the DCs do it with you, at least that's what I'd tell them next year, for the half eaten biscuit incident alone
