Can't stand 'mom' or 'mommy'.

To be honest, "mum" annoys me (reminds me of mumps and other unpleasant things) but I don't get to dictate what everyone else uses. Maybe because I don't send little Tarquin to the local "outstanding" and buy naice ham from Waitrose? Sad that, ain't it.
