To think people should warn you when they have a cold

We are going on our first holiday in almost 2 years tomorrow with our Ds who is 6 months.

On Saturday we visited a friend who held Ds while I ate lunch. Her Ds (10 months) was very interested in my ds and clambered all over both of them giving lots of wet kisses. After about 20 minutes my friend told her Ds to stop giving my Ds wet kisses saying something like "stop it honey you're too snotty and spreading your germs around" she then said her Ds had been in a bad mood and she was also exhausted as they both had stinking colds. I took Ds off her asap. Ds is now fast asleep and is snoring heavily -he sounds really bunged up. Could he have caught a cold that quickly? Was dreading ryanair anyway but grrrrr! (oh and weather in Spain is forecast to be worse than here)

You could probably be warned but I am a little more relaxed than most about colds. They are successful illnesses because they are very contagious and easily spread. We all get them all the time anyway. All the hand sanitiser in the world and we still all get them. I know it's a pain when you child is ill.
