to want to say my son is driving me mad

there I said it - all the things I think but are not supposed to say outloud. He is driving me mad! we are waiting for a possible and highly likely ADHD diagnosis - it's the non stop talking, silly noises and just cannot sit still. Try reading a book to someone who is constantly looking round the room and messing with anything they can get their hands on - aaaaaaaaaaagh his poor teacher has my sympathy

From one who has brought up a son with Aspergers, you have my sympathies.

You are not alone Grin

AAH boing AAH boing whoops two lines remaining aaah cwwwwwaa I gota battle bwabwabwa stuahead now uh uh rar we drawn uh psssh pssssh pfff pfff pfff high five high five man

is what I am listening to right now Grin seriously. I just typed what they are saying as we speak.

It can drive you insane. There are times I have actually wished I was deaf.

After more than a decade of it, I have learned to tune it out, for the most part. I don't hear the, erm - intensity - of it that other people hear Grin It drives my sister round the bend

You've just got to have a scream every now and again. Find some time to experience no noise whatsoever (although I find it difficult to go back to the noise after it's been quiet!) and - if you can - have a laugh. We made a song up Blush we called it the Stim Song. I can't remember the full thing now, but it finished with "bum chikka wow wow. Two." [going straight to hell emoticon]
