To miss Troels Hartmann?

I just do. I miss his cheekbones, I miss his blonde hair, I miss his brooding ways. I don?t even mind too much that he happily popped over to the dark side at the end. He did it with such Scandinavian smoothness. I even liked his name. Mmmmmmmmm, Troels.

Well I watched Those Who Kill last night. S'alright, bit like your standard Wire in the Blood or whatever that nonsense with Robson from Robson and Jerome is called.

But???.Troels! Cut your hair and lose the flasher mac for God's sake!!!! Still love you though, although you?ve got to stop making eyes at that blondie piece, she?s not right for you stalker emoticon.

Rie was there too, she was married to a serial killer. Doesn?t have too much luck with the chaps that one.

Mothership maybe I'll try The Wire again, just need to forget the dullness of the second series and get back to Stringer Bell (mmmm Stringer Bell, I like you too).

Mathership, I agree that The Wire is far superior (being simply the best tv show ever), and The Killing at the end was really never ending (too long imho), still it was a good show...

Squoosh, series 2 of The Wire, is one of the best series imho. So tragic. Indeed like a Greek Tragedy (Wink)

Francagoestohollywood · 23/03/2012 12:53

sorry, there is a comma that shouldn't be there.

squoosh · 23/03/2012 12:57

I only feel safe admitting I'm not super duper impressed by The Wire on an anonymous internet message board. I'm afraid I'd be cast out of decent society forever for saying it Out Loud in Real Life.

Series 2 was very tragic and very well acted etc. and yet, it just made me feel. . . . . . . . myeh.

Yup- the Killing I had more plot holes than a really holey thing, but Troels was a fitster, no denying it.

Wire fans- the second series is super-pants, but you need to get past it because 3-5 are awesome

Pats Franca on the head

Hush child, Troels is very strict about commas and the like so he will not be pleased at such a catastrophic error. I can't imagine McNulty however would be quite so fastidious, so fret ye not.

So it's not just us who shouted at The Killing, then? We used to shout "LUND!" every time Lund came on, and sometimes at random intervals around the house even when we weren't watching it.

Agree about the plot holes, though. We had a long list of unanswered questions at the end.

Francagoestohollywood · 23/03/2012 13:38

Yes, Troels does look like he'd be very comfy in the Pedant's corner, doesn't he. He knows his commas.

How tidy was Troel's house btw. And how clean are his shirts?

squoosh · 23/03/2012 14:00

Oh his house is lovely, bit stark, bit Scandinavian. Didn?t appreciate me leaving my knickers lying around. He?d bellow ?Squoosh?, I?d shriek ?Troels? and then scamper back from the sauna to tidy up. We?d both say ?tak? and then amazing sex would ensue.

I only ever got annoyed when he spent too much time online. It was some chat room, didn?t really understand what it was about as my Danish is still a bit ?Tak and Troels? but he assured me it was purely mayoral business.

There's a dad at school who is clearly Theis' twin. I have to comcentrate really hard not to yell THEIS!! Over the playground.

Meyer, Meyer, Meyer. Heartbreaking.

Have also found the Wire. Nearly choked on my tea at the end of series 2 when Lt Daniels got nekkid. Omar is my hero......

MothershipG · 23/03/2012 16:12

Omar is simply the bee knees and much more wonderful than those Scandinavians...

squoosh · 23/03/2012 16:15

Highlander I nearly choked on my tea when Lester transferred from Baltimore to Holby City.

Oooh Mothership, so true! I even dreamt of Omar at the high of my Wire addiction.

MothershipG · 23/03/2012 16:19

I didn't realise Dominic West was English until I saw him in something else and was very confused by how good his British accent was! Blush

squoosh · 23/03/2012 17:29

I saw Dominic West once in Dublin. I wasn't overly excited. Not like I'd be if I saw TROELS, or Lars as I believe his mother calls him.
