Am I? Blush

Really quite gutted. But haven't been following any trails or spoilers so had no idea it was going to happen. Saw last night's episode after missing a few and cried my eyes out and still sad now! Shock

That's rather worrying when you consider the actor that plays Ben is only 15!

CeliaDeBohun · 22/03/2012 13:14

Some of you are being really mean, OP clearly meant this as a light hearted, tongue in cheek thread even if she was a bit upset about the character dying Smile

OP, I can't say I was that fussed about Heather herself as I found her v annoying but I felt so sad for little George. And for Shirley and poor old Dot, thinking of Heather as her daughter :( And Andrew (although, to be fair, he would have made her life a misery with his violent temper and jealousy!)

JustHecate · 22/03/2012 13:21

Well yes. And people are playing right back. Teasing.

We lurve UA.

CeliaDeBohun · 22/03/2012 13:38

Fair enough. I don't really know who's friendly with who on here, so didn't realise you were just playing Blush

Hoebag · 22/03/2012 13:55

I was upset aswell, nooooo not heather

Hoebag · 22/03/2012 13:55

or EV'

lesley33 · 22/03/2012 14:00

Harry Hill is finishing! Now I am upset.

FrothyDragon · 22/03/2012 14:38

I spent about 75% of last nights episode in tears... I'm sending Linda Henry (plays Shurl... I mean Shirley) my counselling and tissue bill...

Katiepoes · 22/03/2012 14:56

How could anyone have continued sobbing when they all came out in those paper jumpsuits?

FrothyDragon · 22/03/2012 14:59

Easily... The sight of them reduced me to tears.

Even my exMIL has never committed such heinous crimes against fashion...

DesperatelySeekingSedatives · 22/03/2012 15:05

I sobbed when Dot helped Ethel end her life Blush I clearly watch waaay too much telly...

On another note though, I was a bit concerned about the child actor who played little George. He looked so bewildered on last nights episode. They shouldn't have small children on set for those scenes. I'm sure his mum wasn't far away but couldn't they have filmed that scene without Shirl sobbing into his hair? It would still have worked. Imo.

Oh god yes - the ethel and dot episode. Gaahh. Waaaaah! I watched the very first eastenders back in 1764. It's the only soap I have ever watched. It is part of the weft and weave of my rich and varied life.

Ev's demise is another milestone.

I am 248

YANBU. Who will look after George? Darren certainly can't as he left.

OldGreyWiffleTest · 22/03/2012 16:34

Maybe Shurl will get to look after Little George - after all, if Ben and Phil get put away they will need recruits for the Mitchell Clan won't they?

UnlikelyAmazonian · 22/03/2012 16:43

Well, I could have him. He feels like family after all. It's the least I could do.
