or is DH?? - he will only help around the house if I have sex with him?

Over the past few months DH hasn't pulled his weight regarding housework/childcare.

He has also become increasingly unpleasant towards me.

I have found this a big turn off & don't find him attractive anymore. I used to - he used to be kind & attentive.

He now says he will be nice to me if I have sex with him.

Am I being unreasonable thinking that he views marriage as a form of legalised prostitution?

He really does sound awful. I can't see any redeeming features - are there any? What was he like after the older three were born?

mrudagawa · 20/03/2012 22:15

Easy. leave him. Having said that, my dp wouldn't even do the housework for sex.

NowThenWreck · 20/03/2012 22:16

You silly girl. Grit your teeth, think of England, and let him have a go on you. It'll be over soon enough.
You never know-he might do the washing up!

Hooker · 20/03/2012 22:27

NowThenWreck Hahaha! Oh, sorry, that was my sarcastic laugh. Jog the fuck on.

McHappyPants2012 · 20/03/2012 22:35

but seriously i would get a vibrator and say to him well i am used to doing everything on my own :)

VictorGollancz · 20/03/2012 22:44

Tell him to fuck off. And then get rid of him. No-one should stay with a partner like that.

And the posters who are advising you otherwise...words fail me.

NowThenWreck · 20/03/2012 22:48

Er...I was being sarcastic! (somebody got that, right?)

DuelingFanjo · 20/03/2012 22:54

do you cook food for him or irpm shirt/do washing?
I would stop if you do.

MsVestibule · 20/03/2012 23:01

NowThen - it's OK, I got it Smile.

PomBearAtTheGatesOfDawn · 20/03/2012 23:11

Prostitution isn't illegal. (Living off immoral earnings and running a brothel are, but not prostitution.)

Pontouf · 20/03/2012 23:12

Now Then Ha ha ha ha (that was my actual genuine laugh because of your funny joke)

I do think that while he is obviously being utterly unreasonable and a total wanker, just saying "leave the bastard" is not actually terribly helpful. I think relationships are complicated and there may be more to this than the slightly flippant OP? So does he have redeeming features? Do you think that counselling/having a proper conversation about the situation might help?

Starwisher · 20/03/2012 23:15

Oh no, its very reasonable

A bit of a blowjob in exchange for him dusting down the TV

Nice
