AIBU to be annoyed that there are too many threads in pregnancy not about pregnancy itself.

I'm maybe just very fed up in my heavily pregnant state at the moment after a bad nights sleep again. But why do people continually start threads in pregnancy about pushchairs, breast feeding, miscarriage, antenatal clubs, and heaven knows what else in the pregnancy section? Dont they know there are specific areas of MN for those topics? It is annoying me at the moment, but then most things are.

I get more annoyed when I see threads on AIBU that are clearly nothing about whether or not the OP is being reasonable about something.

Honest to god I would be that woman directing people to the correct subforum if I could :D

Not really sure why so many people are latching on to the OP using the example of miscarriage amongst a number of others.

I think it is quite clear that her OP was not intended along the lines of miscarrying woman shouldn't get support and those that are reading that in to it are beings bit disingenuous.

OP you're a heavily pregnant, even if YABU (and there have been enough thread police threads recently to suggest you are not alone in your desire for orderly boards Grin ) that I couldn't possibly hold it against you.

Good luck with the impending arrival.

Thank you sara and boomerwang you have grasped exactly what I mean, orderly direction to the right sub threads. I don't know where this desire has come from. I have had too much time on my hands waiting and waiting so MN has been my distraction.

Perhaps IABU but my waters did break in bed last night so my irritability threshold was quite low yesterday with justified reason.

It's not that no-one understood what you meant, it's just that one of the examples you chose (miscarriage) was a sensitive one. It's like complaining about a bereavement thread in Chat. Technically it shouldn't be there, but because of the likely state of mind of the OP, no-one would ever make a fuss.

ooh, good luck OP Grin getting worked up on AIBU has it's uses then Wink
