I've dressed DD4 (11mths) as a leprechaun complete with hat.

Hopandaskip · 17/03/2012 17:50

ugh I hate St Patrick's day. It is somewhat compulsory here. I glare at people and tell them I'm English. I'm sick of my kids getting pinched over and over at school because they aren't participating.

AIBU to secretly delight that the weather has curtailed events here today?

Hopandaskip the weather here (SE) is grand. Grand soft day Grin .

Don't you know, Southern California grinds to a halt if we have rain (drizzle). Sporting events and parades cancelled all over the place.

Here they pinch you if you aren't wearing green on St Patrick's day.
