I'm thinking of a gretna green or lake district wedding with just 20 guests so googling to see if any of the registry offices were considered nice venues and this search site came up with a random blurb on cumbrian resgistry offices and then suggested popular questions - this was the third but aibu to wonder how popular a question it is?

who is paul henry married 2 who lives at 3 whins field ave barrow in furness cumbria la14 4dr
Acc. to the current Electoral Roll there is a person named Paul Henry in Barrow-In-Furness, Cumbria. LA14 4DR. He lives with Wendy Henry and Craig Jones. www.kgbanswers.co.uk

Eh?

oreocrumbs · 14/03/2012 23:13

Well its probably THE third question and its just that not many questions have been asked! I wouldn't be very happy if I was Paul Henry!!

HolyNoSheDittantBatman · 14/03/2012 23:14

arf maybe he is a serial bigamist so it gets asked a lot!

At school I got an always leaflet about periods, which had a 'FAQ' section and one was 'is it true that I cannot tend the crops during my period?' This was in an English comp in the 90's! I refuse to believe that is one of the 5 most FAQ!

troisgarcons · 14/03/2012 23:15

Paul Henry was Benny in Cross Roads.

Jesus I really do need to get on a quiz show.

No idea where he lives though Grin

oreocrumbs · 14/03/2012 23:16

Or, Paul henry could have many a scorned woman chasing him and they all want to know who he lives with Grin. Theres some strange folk in Barrow!!

2shoes · 14/03/2012 23:17

wasn't Paul Henry ,Benny in Crossraods

StealthPolarBear · 14/03/2012 23:19

I'm guessing the FAQ inclusion was automated and they failed to realise people would have to submit EXACTLY the same question to get a score of more than one!

You could have a lot of fun here:

"Who was the first person on the moon?"
"Who was the first person to complete a 4 minute mile?"
"How many shillings in a pound"
"Who played the lead in American sitcom Cheers?"

troisgarcons · 14/03/2012 23:21

"Who was the first person on the moon?"Neil Armstrong
"Who was the first person to complete a 4 minute mile?"sirROger bannister
"How many shillings in a pound" twelve
"Who played the lead in American sitcom Cheers?"errrr nope you gotme there on sitcoms

StealthPolarBear · 14/03/2012 23:23

I know them (well apart from the cheers one, and would ahve to google the shilling one to be certain, I'm only 32) but do they, that is the question

JennyPiccolo · 14/03/2012 23:24

Ted danson!

StealthPolarBear · 14/03/2012 23:25

In fact I'd have guessed 20 for the shilling one. Didnt they become the big old 5ps, or did they just happen to be the same sort of size?
Mt Grandpa still talks about shillings, and in fact he has stuff in his store cupboard where the price is still in shillings Shock and probably still uses it

StealthPolarBear · 14/03/2012 23:26

nooo he didnt manage a 4 minute mile
Wink

doctordwt · 14/03/2012 23:28

Benny from Crossroads would NEVER have managed a four-minute mile.

NonnoMum · 14/03/2012 23:29

HolyNo REALLY?
In that language? Tending the crops? Tending the crops? Maybe some joker on Work Experience just shoved that one in the leaflet???

RachelWalsh · 14/03/2012 23:32

That's true though. The crops would be cursed by your female uncleanness. I NEVER tend the crops when I'm on.

CousinCairngormMcWomble · 14/03/2012 23:37

I remember those leaflets - can I still bath? Can I still swim? Can I still exercise? Can I have sex? Can I make mayonnaise?!?!? Also English Comp in the 90s.

HolyNoSheDittantBatman · 14/03/2012 23:47

Honestly! I kept it because it made laugh so much.

cousin that's the one! I remember the mayonnaise question! That's even worse than the tending the crops one.

RachelWalsh · 14/03/2012 23:47

Nope. Nope. Nope. Are you even married?! Foreign muck!

There you go cousincairngorm Grin

NonnoMum · 14/03/2012 23:48

/now you're just winding me up!!!! Mayonnaise !!!

WTA?

GrimmaTheNome · 14/03/2012 23:53

Is 'Tending the crops' a euphemism for some strange practice?

HolyNoSheDittantBatman · 14/03/2012 23:54

So random because the have a bath/have sex/swim/exercise ones are all fairly reasonable and then 'can I tend the crops' and 'can I make mayonnaise'....just, why? who?

HolyNoSheDittantBatman · 14/03/2012 23:55

I did wonder that about the mayonnaise tbh Grimma

ceeveebee · 15/03/2012 00:06

Twenty shillings in a pound. Twelve pence in a shilling
