the way I see it, MNHQ are not there to be impartial referees. They are not even really "moderators" as such. They step in whenever anyone breaches their talk guidelines, but I like that they can also join in threads and enjoy the spirit of the place. We are all grown ups here (hopefully) so we don't need to be refereed or to worry about the "teachers" taking sides.

Express away. I take it you have reported someone for something and been told there is nothing amiss? That happens all the time. It's not favouritism: it is just that MNHQ need a very good reason to do much beyond privately ticking someone off. They are not the police. In fact, even if you reported someone to the police who was pissing you off, they don't always take the action you would like. That's life, suck it up. Or set up a forum and make yourself Empress.

MN is a private company, and they can be sued for things that people type on their boards. So they bloody well should have some control over what is left, and what is deleted.

So if you wanted to express concern about a poster but didn't because HQ seemed (to you) to be friendly with them, I would be inclined to suggest the problem is in fact in your head rather than in the way MN actually operates.
