I also say it sometimes and will Blush with you! have said it to DH and he tells me I spend too much time on here:0

However, have also told the DC that "this isn't working for me". And have advised a friend that " no is a complete sentence!" Shock

Help me now! Think I may need an enforced holiday...

Kennyp · 14/03/2012 20:09

Lol! I am so tempted to start my sentences with " IANBU, but ....."

You aare so NBU. ;)

TheCountessOlenska · 14/03/2012 20:12

I said IMHO to DH the other day - he was Confused

Mrsjay · 14/03/2012 21:50

Don't worry, just this evening I told DH he had been unreasonable. I lost my appetite as he told me proudly of the phone call he'd had re a motoring claim he made that's still not settled. Unfortunately he had made a prat of himself and I am mortified. Sad

Hassled · 14/03/2012 22:11

DS3 told me I wasn't being unreasonable the other day :o

Dee03 · 14/03/2012 22:19

I now use 'no is a complete sentence'
Also have a friend going through a tough time with older dc treating her like a doormat and I found myself saying that she's enabling them to treat her that way....I've never used the word 'enable' before Smile

Kayano · 14/03/2012 22:20

I have said 'biscuit ' to DH before

He was Hmm

iceandsliceplease · 14/03/2012 22:59

I think I have so far kept it in my head so far, thinking to myself 'AIBU to be pissed off about this? No. No. No. I am not.' I just know that my day of reckoning will come and I will say to another parent in the playground 'Ayeboo to really hate that?'

ReebleBauble · 15/03/2012 00:27

My DP has been known to actually say YABU to me when Im being particularly irrational. Actually says 'yaaahboo' and everything. Its enought of a laught to get me out of my funk Grin

Whatmeworry · 15/03/2012 00:29

YABU sucks :o

TroublesomeEx · 15/03/2012 09:15

I have used "no is a complete sentence" and I have also started to use "you are being unreasonable" and "am I being unreasonable?" more than before...

It's a bit like when you play too much Tetris and the world morphs into a huge game of Tetris...

fussbucket · 15/03/2012 09:22

I've been using DD, IYSWIM and YANBU by accident in real life conversations, keep getting the Confused face from friends and family. Definitely spending far too much time here!

Mrsjay · 15/03/2012 09:38

My daughters say LOL out loud that is so annoying !
