My hair hasn't been cut since October and desperately needs doing but I don't want to go. I find it such a chore and I really dislike sitting in front of a mirror for over an hour. I find it difficult to make small talk to a complete stranger and since I'm not going away this year I will have nothing to talk about. I dont think it helps that I don't know what I want so come out feeling like I've spent £40 for a trim. I'm not the only one who feels like this am I? I can't understand how someone could go every week!

Ugh. YANBU. Torture. I cut my hair vair short because I thought it would be less hassle. No one told me that you have to go the hairdresser MORE often if you have short hair. Am growing it out now so it looks like the Dorothy Hamill Wedge atm.

YANBU! I went to one for the first time in a year last week and asked for my grown-out fringe to be cut back in.

What I emerged with was NOT a fringe. Unless the definition of a fringe has changed to mean, "several different lengths across the forehead in layers of differing lengths with stray strands of hair too long and falling across the face"

Confused

This was a hairdresser my age (40) but I got it sorted by a teenager in another place so fuck knows what the original one thought she was doing.

YANBU. And I don't get the whole "pampering" business - having a facial or a pedicure
