But I'm a table, that's round...I don't need capitals. I didn't sign up without realising capital letter etiquette, oh no Grin

Mm, lemon sherbet vodka. I'll have a slurp of that.

I do that and various other concoctions using sorbet, vodka, whatever else and liquidise.

violetwellies · 12/03/2012 21:55

Can I shove it in the slow cooker? And will DP eat it?

CappyHunt · 12/03/2012 21:55

MissVerinder · 12/03/2012 21:55

I like it Quint and I'm definitely going to try it.

It'll save me eating 3/4 of a cheesecake before it "goes off" DP gets his mitts on it

violetwellies · 12/03/2012 21:57

I don't have an oven.

roundtable · 12/03/2012 21:58

I'm going to give both a go, I think.

Sounds good. :)

ChaosTrulyReigns · 12/03/2012 22:00

Some of teh reviews mention slowcookers - I can't see why not?

I only had a 2kg leg arther than a 3 kg.

so took it out after 5 and half hours - it was perfcet.

my dh makes that lamb. It's his only signature dish. He saw it in the telly box.

dearprudence · 12/03/2012 22:03

I love lamb that's been cooked to buggery for a long time. I'll give it a try.

Cheddars · 12/03/2012 22:04

I love lamb. A leg is just sooo expensive though!

TuftyFinch · 12/03/2012 22:06

It'snot beans on toast though is it? I can cook beans on toast.

roundtable · 12/03/2012 22:11

I'll share on of those :) with you instead. Three is just greedy. Grin

QuintessentialyHollow · 12/03/2012 22:14

Definitely try it Miss. It was saturday, we had no pudding, and both my boys was sitting after dinner saying "Pudding pudding". I forgot we usually have a pudding on a saturday. Brainwave. I took what we had and it looked fab, and tasted fab, and the boys loved it. Grin

ChaosTrulyReigns · 12/03/2012 22:14

Cheddars.

The lamb I bought was £16.

It served perfectly 6 adults and 7 children - lots had secons.

So per head it wasn;t too bad iyswim?

I did it with frozen petit pois, roast carrots and broloci and sweet potato mash.

And the wine wasn't expensive. Wink

And I make my own stock although stock is my utter nemesis.
