Or are least tell her to bog off

Ok so not to drip feed Will give the full story sorrynis long and full of TMI about my muff

Right over 4 weeks ago i started having a lot of pain and strange bleeding down below! Especially after sex the pain starts low like a cramp and goes to the right of my abdomen and in to my back (on the depo injection so i have had no period since the birth.of DS last match

I was thinking enlarged cyst as i have PCOS

went to see GP after 2 weeks she had a look up and saw something on my cervix i was referred to the colposcopy clinic and attend this week

lucky all was ok just an erosion on the cervix and it Will heal but the consultant agreed this was not the cause of the pain and kind of agreed with me that the most likely cause was an enlarged cyst on my right vary (i have had this before many years ago and had to have it drained)

Due to new NHS funding rules i have had to return to my GP to get re.referred to have an ultrasound and gyne appointment'!!! (fucking farce)

Right so attended yesterday and was a GP i have never ment (massive practice) she spoke about my problem with a right sour face she then asked me if i was in a stable relationship yes thank you have been with my DH for almost 10 yrs!

But she had refused to refer me back to gyne and refused to arrange an ultrasound scan as in her words.even.in a relationship anything can.happen!!!

Even though the hospital consultants letter said aboutbyhe gyne and ultrasound referrals!! And that they should be made ASAP!!

So i am.now been kept in pain for longer as this GP is refusing to.refer me until i.have been tested for ALL STD's!!!

I mean seriously my DH and i at first found this halirious but now i feel down right.insulted!! And offended the first GP Had no.issues yet this GP thinks.myself.or.my DH are shagging around with anyone and no using.protection like some mad teenagers!!!

So come Monday i have swabS and urine tests for all the STD'S she has requested then i have up to a fortnights want for results!!

Ok so after all that waffle AIBU to refuse these tests stonk up to the surgery on Monday kick off and.demand a referral and complain!!?????

Don't feel judged. It's not that at all, it's just that it would be unprofessional and poor practice to just take someone's word for it that a particular risk doesn't exist.

Sadly partners DO have affairs, husbands and wives don't always know, and it would be wrong to not test patients on their say so.

My colleague was about to fit a contraceptive implant for a lady who swore blind that she hadn't had sex since the birth of her baby. Luckily my colleague did a routine pregancy test before fitting the implant as it was positive!

I had similar with the gP last year. Had to have a wealth of sti tests even though married for 11 years. However I accept that the gp has no idea what my marriage or my husband are like. Married, middle aged women I believe are supposed to be a high risk group for STIs as they have regular unprotected sex when their partners may be shagging About. A gp has no way of telling if your partner is faithful or not.

However I'd be annoyed that the gp is ignoring what the consultant requested.
