Am I being AIBU to think 25 is too old to be wearing Lynx

It's targeted towards teenagers, I've yet to come across one that doesn't smell of hairspray, today my ds (4) sprayed nearly a whole can in the hallway (it stunk for hours)

I just think he's too old now, he's been wearing it since we were teenagers and it's really starting to grate on me. I think the fact he can never throw away an empty can either really bothers me too. So AIBU to just ask to change it for something else?

My Dh wears it as do my ds's so my house stinks of the stuff but rather that than BO

Yabu, DP wears it and he's 35. I quite like the smell of most of them. A whole can is going over the top though!

Oooooh I love lynx, it's the only brand DP can wear as everything else makes him itchy. I love lynx fever, yum yum!

YABU, my Dh is 37, and wears it occasionally (we got a free sample when we moved in a redirection box from royal mail!)

My 36yr old friend wears Lynx. I take the piss out of him a lot . It does remind me of being 16! Having said that it does smell nice so I can see why he does.

DH wears it as a deodorant. He is 35, he does not remind me of my teenager pupils, thank the lord!

yabu, my hubby wears it at 41 and i love it.

Lynx is for teenage boys. It smells bogging.

Impulse is for teenage girls. It smells bogging.

OP - YANBU it is a really overpowering-teen-going-on-first-date hideous smell. I would discreatly bin it and buy him something classy instead.

How can you refer to Lynx as 'it', there are over ten different types

YABU, my 35 year old DH uses it and I like it!

Does he still use it like a teenager? Half a can in each armpit to save him showering more than once a month week? If so, YADNBU.

But if he is using it like a normal person then you probably need to just accept it as a valid deodorant choice. Is he particularly attached to his Lynx? Or just stuck in a rut, buying what he has always bought? Is it worth you getting a can of something you think smells delicious, and asking him if he will at least try it?

God- takes me back to my yoof, when every boy in suburbia doused himself in a can of Lynx Oriental before stepping out of the door to hook up with girlfriend doused in a bottle of White Musk or Dewberry from the Bodyshop.

So yes, IMO, you stop using Lynx when you leave school, but that's probably just me.
