mundane problem of the day

I forgot to shave my legs this morning. I'm taking my baby swimming later so I will now be the mum with stubbly legs. I don't care enough and can't be bothered to go and do it now.

Don't think it will worry anyone in the pool unless they rub up against my legs!

Whats your mundane problem of the day?

Gingham or flowery curtains for dd's new bedroom?

YonWhaleFish · 09/03/2012 15:12

Ooo gingham.

I have a sticky finger from eating a creme egg.

Bought tickets for the cinema online and got charged 4.45 money handling fee, realised as I was pressing the button and it was too late Angry.

Definitely gingham - but not pink. Even for a girl. Go with sage green or blue.

Mundane problem of day: actually I have no problems for today - hah ha! :o

Or it could be, why have I bought the ingredients to cook curry for 7 people tonight instead of just ordering take away?

My mundane problem is that I'm going to a wedding tomorrow. Am 15 wks pg and wearing a new maternity dress. Will I just look fat? It's a wrap dress but I'm not sure if I will just look lardy as opposed to actually pregnant. It's not like I can drink through the uncertainty. Admittedly, by the end of the night, I will be so full and windy (TMI) that I will look massively pregnant.

Rhubarbgarden · 09/03/2012 16:25

I was leaning towards green gingham so you have confirmed my preference! Thanks!

I also don't want to use the open bag of oven chips in the freezer as they are cheap and yuk. I want to open the new bag of aunt bessies and eat them. Clearly that is morally wrong.

My life is weighed down with problems such as these!

my mundane problem is that i bought too much grated cheese "protein pot" stuff at lunchtime and am having a dilemma over whether it is morally worse to just throw it away before i go home or to carry it home where i will definitely not eat it and just throw it away there, but will feel better for having tried not to waste it.

noidontwant2hearaboutyourdream · 09/03/2012 19:17

leave it in the work fridge and forget all about it!
