And it landed in a big splatty heap on the floor and the sodding dog ate it. And I'd been looking forward to it all day. Now he's saying I should have pesto. LIKE THAT'S THE SAME

why the hell would anyone actually buy carbonara sauce? it's just bacon, eggs and cream, how hard is that to make Hmm

If you want a creamy pasta sauce without eggs, fry bacon, onions, garlic then glug in some cream and let it bubble for a bit. Frozen peas usually get added at this point in our house. Tip over hot pasta, grate on lots of parmesan. Put on stretchy pants and then scoff the lot.
