not to want to always see my birthday in alone?

In 12 minutes I'll be a year older. I have seen my birthday in alone for the last 6 years the first three becuase I was in a shite "transitional" relationship after my marriage, and the last three because OH is in the Navy.

I am happy and I am proud of what I have achieved in my (almost) 37 yrs, 3 wonderful children who I have brought up alone and three wonderful step-children who I have been lucky enough to have in my life too, a lovely house and a wonderful career.

But I always am alone at this time Sad

Someone join me?

8th March is one of the BEST days in the year to have your birthday. I say this because DD was born today 14 years ago. Grin. I am currently taking a break from finishing her cake - I need the pearlescent food paint on her cake to dry before stacking the cakes.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

(DD was born at 2.37am, so she's not technically 14yo yet...)

This should have been ds's birthday. He came on the 8th all right, but of January instead! Happy birthday!

I hope you had a good day but don't feel lonely because you are alone on your birthday. At least you still have a DH and loving children who see you.

I lost my DH and our son lives 6000 miles away.

It's my birthday tomorrow.... i have a twin sister so it's NEVER been 'my' day. Even now at 33 i will still have drop kids of at school & nursery then drive round to mum's where sis will be and give her a card etc...usually they buy DD something but not me ( I am ok with that i just dont like it thats its MY birthday and all the present's i have are for my dd stampy foot alert when they could just as easily drop them round tomorrow.) the following day is DD'd b'day so have family comming round for a tea party for her. Her big party is next weekend.
DD waited not long after midnite just so she could have her own birthday... I am sure of it!!!
