do you have plans for mother's day

maybe a little early for this kin od thread as mother's day is not till 18th march.

but looking for idea on what to do

nope. if My children want to get me something, thats lovely, if they dont, im not going to kick up a fuss about it.

unlike my mother.

At 20months your DD will do something lovely for you on18th even if she doesn't know it's mothers day. So enjoy her face lighting up when she sees you in the morning, or that slobbery kiss or singing nursery rhymes. Once she's a sullen teen you'll be overjoyed at any recognition, so this year just do nice stuff (no housework) and enjoy your time with her.

We're going to the zoo, out for lunch and then having a party tea at home with my parents - balloons, cake the lot.

I doubt Mothers Day will get a mention, it's DS2s birthday!!

We'll be down at my parents as it's my dads birthday. So I'll be making a cake and a sausage plait to take! I will get a bit of a lie in tho Grin
