I'm not sure if I'm aloud to post the link, but if you search "Don't say no to sex" on the Daily Mail website you'll find relevant article about SWMNBN.

(Sorry if this has already been done, I've been out all day. Disclaimer - I do not actually read the DM)

Emmmm she has a great publicist. I seem to remember a similar ruckass with the Demented House with twins book. Still lying at the back of the wardrobe where it was launched by a demented Mother. Such utter bollocks.

While it's delightful that some people are so keen to share how 'up for it' straight after birth they were, how individual women feel is not the point.

If you genuinely don't get why her advice is ludicrous and damaging then there's probably not much point explaining it.

What I don't get is all these men who are just sitting there feeling closed out and unattended to. When dh's babies were that little he was working flat out being a father: he didn't expect anyone else to be looking after him.

cory · 07/03/2012 19:48

It would of course be interesting to see dh glammed up- but I don't suppose I shall live to see the day Grin

YAVVVDDDNNNBBBUUU

The woman drives me mad.
The article drove me mad.

if I want her advice I'll give it to her I'll ask.

I think that when a woman has a baby, you can really see of you are marries to a boy or a man - thank goodness mine is a man! By that I mean he doesn't expect babying himself and doesn't feel left out or any of that bollocks I have seen happen with some guys.

startail · 07/03/2012 23:50

Since DD2 BF continuously, I don't think evening out at 4/6 weeks was likely to happen.
Lovey dovy Chinese takeaway while rocking the car seat with my foot possibly.

Stupid woman is still in my bad books for making a perfectly nice friend a right bore about routines when she had Het first child.

This is actually a important point, rape aside, thats is bad enough, but this is why you are advised not to have Sex soon after birth
you need to go down the page a bit
