To report XP for insuring his car at my address!

Fed up of it.
We were together under a year, he used to stay here a lot but never actually moved in.
After we split (over a year ago) I started getting debt collection letters for him, I contacted the companies telling them he never lived there.
He is not only getting insured here, but defaulting on his payments! I have tried asking him to change it, I have given the insurance company his address, but apparently they can't do anything :/

I know why he's done it, because he lives in a rough area inner city and I live in a nice rural area, he saves £400!

ARGH!!

If he isn't leaving the car at your address but telling the insurance comapny he is then he is commiting fraud. I can't believe the insurance company won't do anything about it.

If he is declaring your address as his (as the registered owner) then he is committing fraud.

Do you know where his drivers licence is registered to?

I would re-contact the insurance company, they have a legal obligation tosort this out. Tell then that you are contacting the police and DVLA, speak to a supervisor. If they won't takeany action they are in breach of the insurance code of practice (i don't know the up to date one).

You could contact the DVLA, giving his details, just to keep you in the clear.

The police would also be happy to give you advice.

Return any mail unopened to sender.
