To detest low rise jeans

Hoist up your breeks! I can see your arse cheeks!

These things do not look at all comfortable yet they seem to be the garment of choice for mothers around here. Then they bend over at toddler group, or put the kids in the car and there it is! An arse almost fully out in public! Not to mention the constant yanking to pull em up again. Very unsavoury. AIBU or just hopelessly frumpy in my jeans that start on my actual waist?

YADNBU. I've never had them, they look absolutely awful.

Or you could all wear something other than jeans now and then Grin

I hate them but only cause I don't have the stomach to get away with them anymore :)

Next, you say? (Plans shopping trip for jeans)

I hate low rise trousers - they came in when I was a student in the early 90s and need to duck off! Most low rises don't even cover my hips so fall off. And if I have the waist and hip measurements of a size 14 I'm not buying a 20 just so I can hoik them near my waist with a belt!

i prefer them

it stems from pre dc when i had a belly button piercing and didn't like the feel of trousers over it

i also used to wear crop tops with them and swan about showing off my super flat tummy thats been ravaged by pg
