to love it when people don't have their FB privacy settings set high?

I've just spent a very pleasant hour viewing photos of friends of friends, people I've lusted over, people who I never particularly liked, on FB as their settings have their photos viewable to all.

I feel a bit wrong like I've been snooping, but I haven't because if they don't want all and sundry to see them their settings should be higher.

perceptionreality · 26/02/2012 14:12

Most of the people I click on have mutual friends - the is the main reason for people showing up on people you may know.

helloclitty · 26/02/2012 14:38

How do you guys now this for sure? I only ever have friends of friends on my 'people you might know' list

Coconutty it could have been that you both had a school or work place or home town on your info.

thisisyesterday · 26/02/2012 15:03

yanbu.

I know mine is secure as I set up a second fake profile so I could double check what non-friends could see.

MerrilyWatkins · 26/02/2012 16:15

I did that too Meg!

FoofFighter · 27/02/2012 11:32

those links saying they are stalker finder apps come and see who is snooping on you are not real, they are spam/virus/hoax whatever you wish to call them. Like the "i lost 2 stone in 3 weeks!" one that is doing the rounds just now.

ViviPru · 27/02/2012 11:33

YANBU.

I love a good nosey. Like taking the dog for a walk at dusk and having a good peer through the windows.

Trills · 27/02/2012 11:38

What FoofFighter said - do not click on anything that claims to tell you who has been looking at your profile.

DaisyDaresYOU · 27/02/2012 13:39

Those stalker apps are just survey scams.Thankfully as i have nosed on ex best mates profile

PostBellumBugsy · 27/02/2012 14:12

If you click on someone, it will then list you in the "someone you might know" area? Is that really true? where is this "someone you might know" thing? I can't see it.
