Then she would be in big trouble, yet I still have 30+ episodes recorded on my sky plus.

I think Peppa has terrible role models though... she wants to see the stars through a proper telescope so her parents dont' think twice about ringing up Granny Pig and Grandpa Pig in the middle of the night and waking them up to ask if they can use theirs. That girl is going to grow up with a ridiculous sense of entitlement.

WorraLiberty · 24/02/2012 18:58

Yeah well if we'd done things Tom and Jerry did, we would have been up on an assault charge Grin

BillyBollyBandy · 24/02/2012 18:58

My DD does

stupid bloody pig

It is well captured though. There is an episode where Rebecca Rabbit or some other friend comes round to play and she and Peppa link arms and bounce excitedly round the house. That is exactly what DD does whenever she has a friend come over ...

headfairy · 24/02/2012 19:02

dd has just started shouting "muddy puddles" as she leaps in to the nearest bog and splashes mud all over her clean clothes.

Fortunately our little boy just runs around shaking his arms and saying "dine-sar, rawrrrrrrrr!" all the time. It's the cutest!

QueenSconetta · 24/02/2012 22:02

Lol, thanks all, xx.

Daddy Pig is my role model though - whenever things go wrong he makes the best of it eg the time the electricity went out and he had to go down into the basement to look for the torch and the mummy pig remembers she had the torch in the kitchen all along. I would have been RAGING and after falling over everthing, fallen out with blooming mummy pig and made the rest of the evening miserable for everyone. Daddy pig? He takes a second, looks on the bright side gives everyone a huge smile and they have a lovely time suffering through Peppas pretend tv report.

cunexttuesonline · 24/02/2012 23:14

Ah yes, I love daddy pig too. Peppa is definitely a little brat.

anonacfr · 24/02/2012 23:21

headfairy they don't even call, they just show up!

MsBobbiHarlow · 24/02/2012 23:25

DD: "What's gammon?"

DS1: "Peppa Pig in a sandwich. With ketchup."

Wail; thud; pause.

DS1: "Ow! What the hell was that for, Mum? You really hurt me!"

MsBobbi: "Yup!"

BarmyBiscuit · 24/02/2012 23:27

My son hates his wellies. It is only when I mention jumping in muddy puddles that he takes an interest.

HeadfirstForHalos · 24/02/2012 23:54

Well personally I'd ive Horrid Henry a good smack on the arse (and his whiny brother too Grin) but I'm happy for the kids to watch it!

QueenSconetta · 25/02/2012 08:33

I think BobbiSon's style, lol, x.
