To consider taking DD to Disneyland Paris.

Without taking the DS's?

I am in two minds about it.

DS2 would not be fussed in the slightest and would probably prefer staying at home rather than going (he isnt fussed about Disney and hates the crowds). DS1 would come for the sake of coming iyswim but I dont think he would choose to go. I am also arranging a trip for him and DH to go to Alton Towers Hotel for the night, and he goes on lots of days out with just him and me.

However I still feel mean.

Would you do it or have you done it?

I have just been to Disneyland Paris with a 10 year old girl and a 13 year old boy. They absolutely loved it. There is loads more there for a 10 year old than a 4 year old; a 4 year old won't meet the minimum height requirements for the decent rides. Has your 10 year old been to Disneyland? Does he know what kind of thing is there? Does he not like Star Wars, Indiana Jones, car stunt shows and so on? It seems very odd that he would like Alton Towers but not like the similar rides at Disney. We went at half term and it was not that crowded. The queue for Indiana Jones was never more than 10 mins.

If you took them all, you could take DD into the more crowded Disney Park while your DH took DS2 into Disney studios. As long as they go on a ride during the short parade, your DS is unlikely to see any characters to alarm him in the studios area.
