The male judges wear either a smart suit - David Walliams - or jeans and t-shirt - Simon Cowell.

But the two female judges - Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon- turn up for the auditions as if they're in competition as to who can show the most flesh.

This gives a (IMHO) bad message to young fans of the show; the men can dress professionally or casually but the "girls" need to show some cleavage or thigh.

I wish they'd dress more like Kate on her public duties - stylish, sophisticated and not at all trashy.

you can tell amanda holden only gave birth not so long ago was at the birmingham bgt auditions on sunday and saw her walk across the stage and i dont know she was sort of...stiff? IYSWIM?

I think they look gorgeous. My DD won a competition to meet Alesha last year and she was absolutely charming, warm and extremely kind and genuine not to mention beautiful.

I think Kate whatever her surname is dresses like a boring old frump.

I think that AH looks absolutely knackered.. She is obviously putting on a front. I did the same thing after i had my dd. I went back to work after four weeks and despite the fact that i looked glam on the outside, felt absolutely
awful. Don't be surprised if she hjas a major meltdown soon.
I actually feel sorry for her tbh.
Alesha Dixon is beautiful, but has a terrible dress sense. She deffo needs a new stylist, I don't like anything she wears

Kate middletons dress sense is awful. She is also far too thin. She has made no discernsble contribution to anything and she is no child, she is in her thirties. I do not want her as a role model for my girls tyvm. She's on a level with Paris Hilton in this house, neither useful nor decorative.

At least Amanda and Alesha have their own careers which they have worked for themselves and I would imagine they buy their clothes out of their own earnings therefore they are perfectly entitled to dress as they like.

Shaming women into believing that their flesh is something that should be hidden away is VERY unreasonable in my opinion.

It should really be either suits for all, or skimpywear for all, men and women alike. Otherwise it does give the message that men are serious/intelligent whereas women are eye candy.

Honestly can't fathom how AH looks so good after giving birth so recently, yes she looks a little tired but she is in tiny dresses and alesha looks bigger tbh.

My belly went down pretty quick but seriously it was 3wks ago- Celebs are obviously super human, never seen a celeb mum looking like they have give birth yet.

Kate dresses sense is awful atm, far too old, she dressed a lot better when she was in Canada.

She was so stiff saynothing! You could tell she wasn't 100 percent. NOT EVEN CLOSE. Go home AH and look after your baby and to hell with Simon Cowell, if he sacks you I WILL go and tell him what a prick he is!!

I wish they would dress more fashionably. I feel as if we've lost our way somehow. When did fashion get mixed up with showing as much skin as possible ? And, yes I know there's nothing wrong with showing skin.
