to think that one of the best things about having a dog is being able to fart and blame it on her??

Small Dog has gone up in the world and is now allowed in the sitting room with us and I have discovered that there is no need to be ladylike and leave the room, I can just blame it on the dog and DH is none the wiser!

And the best bit is because she's so cute he doesn't tell her off, so its a win win situation all round! Grin

Disclaimer: I would like to add that I don't fart very often but on the odd occasion that I need to I no longer have to leave the comfort of the sofa!

She's not wagging, she's wafting. I thought only human males did that!

Avantia · 20/02/2012 19:53

Wafting - yes - correct term Grin

At least she won't be able to set light to it ! Bloody house would blow up !

Catsmamma · 20/02/2012 19:57

ooohhhheemmmmmgeeeeee naughtyMrChicken how bad must the fart have been???

:D

MrsTractor · 21/02/2012 16:53

Oh the farting mouse is priceless!

I only blame it on the dog if she is sat on my lap/next to me on the sofa so it would be harder to identify the culprit. Sometimes she does a really squeaky one and will turn round and look at her bottom with a very puzzled expression - never fails to make me howl with laughter! Grin

Fortunately the dog and I are in a fairly mediocre farting range, now DH's on the other hand are in a totally different league and could be used in international warfare!

And I have learnt a new thing today, I didn't know that guinea pigs fart! I wounder if goldfish do?? Grin

My dog used to be quite happy and "own" the fart if it was his, and looked sort of apologetic, whereas when you blamed one on him that wasn't, he always looked very indignant.

When we used to feed him Kangaroo mince (Aussie dog) he was the worst. Particularly if you forgot and took him on a trip in the car and had to be in close proximity.

My cat very rarely farts. She's 8. And persian (I'm sure expensive, luxury cats must surely fart less Grin but she might get worse when she's old and cranky.

nannipigg · 21/02/2012 17:05

Our dog farts constantly and it smells like rotting cabbage!
I pmsl at him when he does it on the wood floor as it make the most horrid squeaking noise Grin

Avantia · 21/02/2012 18:22

I once put too many eggs in scrambled egg when our dog was convalescing .... I learnt the hard way - it was fowl foul

nannipigg · 24/02/2012 13:57

yeah, dog egg farts are the worst I think x

diddl · 24/02/2012 14:06

Whilst this is really funny-what are these poor animals eating?

I´ve never heard or smelt either the cat or the dog.

Maybe they either leave the room or wait until we do??Grin

ChaoticAngel · 24/02/2012 14:16

My dog farts. If it's a noisy one then it doesn't tend to smell but if it's a SBD one then you have to leave the room. She managed to get her paws on some garlic bread once...we suffered the rest of the day Hmm

nannipigg · 24/02/2012 14:54

Aw our puppy eats anything that falls on the floor, including cat litter :-S
And having a 3 year old girl who is very messy eating doesn't help either. He is constantly on the scrounge when we are out walking too, you need eyes in the back of your head!

MrsTractor · 24/02/2012 15:15

diddl perhaps they wait until someone else lets rip and then do the same! Grin

Having seen the quantity of wheat/birdseed/flowerpots/anything that Small Dog consumes in the course of a day I have concluded that there is no one culprit, she simply has a noxious arse! Grin
