Following on from the mooncup thread...to put stickers in the toilets at work?

I am a recent mooncup convert, but talking to my friends it seems most of them have never heard of it...I'm sure more women would try them if only they were aware. Would it BU to get some stickers from them (those ones that advertise them) and put them in the cubicles at work? (I'm a secondary school teacher - would only put them in the staff loos, not the kids!) Or not?

I think it's quite a good idea. If there's posters and stickers up for other things, why not? You can just ignore them if you don't like them.

Don't make your own though, or if you do, at least spell it right!

At school I was irked every time I went to the loos by signs saying 'Shut the lids of the sanatory bins'. After a couple of weeks, I took a red felt tip pen in and corrected them all

Made me laugh out loud. Every woman i've ever told about them has looked at me like i'm making up shit, looked as though they may even punch me just at the disgusting suggestion or pissed themselves laughing at the thought.

Would you admit that it was you if asked?

I would imagine that it may be a disiplinary offence, being a statutory building.

It would cause bad feeling if every woman who used the toilets was asked if it was them and you didn't own up.

Personally, as an older women i hate people trying to tell me how i should run personal aspects of my life. Adverts are a part of life in public buildings, but thankfully i don't have to look at them in work.

YABU. Like someone else here, I worked as a cleaner and stickers are a nightmare to remove. It might sound trite, but can you imagine what loo doors would look like if everyone put a sticker on the door to advertise their current pet issue?

it is an idea, i was in the ladies in pub recently and (assume due to dif colourerd pens ,style of writing used )several local gel"s had , on the cubicle wall, declared to all the a)chat up style of a regular local fella b)his "size" c)his (to them all ) experience or lack thereof,)financial meanness etc etc All in all an interesting read Oh, and a very detailed discription,shame i never say this "stud" that eve !
