I have two lovely children, a home and although money not great its managable. I get to stay at home (mainly cause I haven't successed in getting a part time job) and I see that life's good but i just feel sad and then I feel bad because I'm sad and not enjoying it! I know I'm being unreasonable, does everyone feel like that?

I do

go have a propper cry then go and have a peep at your georgeous sleeping children. You will feel much better for it ;)

Feeling better today ?

Perhaps you're bored and would like to do something just for yourself rather than childcare all the time. I felt the same way when I was at home with littlies.

Perhaps you could do some studying, or take up a new hobby, sport etc.

I think routine can wear us all down eventually. I get a bot like this sometimes and I agree that a good cry really helps. Hope you're feeling less blue today.

Thanks for all your comments I a little prone to feeling down, but today I saw an old friend from my working days and realised I miss that life more than I thought and so I do need to find something new to do (as suggested), not sure what yet but it feels like some of the solution. Thanks x
