To think I can't cope with toddler baby and broken ankle?!

Probably in the wrong section but wanted some advice ASAP! I have just broken my ankle, cannot put any weight on it for six weeks. My DSs are 7months and two.I am still breastfeeding the baby who is frequently up in the night as he is teething. HOW AM I GOING TO DO THIS?! I know people manage a lots worse, but how exactly? My DH is off for the next week on holiday, so we'll manage then, then I suppose I may have to stay at my parents. Any advice or practical tips? Also, it's hurting like buggery but the nurse said only paracetamol as I'm breastfeeding!

Yes you can take more than paracetamol. Ibuprofen good for fracture pain and co codamol too.
I'd think about cosleeping too. And let your dc1 watch cbeebies in the day, you can wean them off it later.
Good luck.

Ouch! You poor thing! Whereabouts in the world are you?

Oh no how awful.

Again you can definitely take more than paracetamol for pain.
It's difficult watching people do stuff in your house especially if it's not how you would do it or to your standard but just take a deep breath and ignore. As long as you and the dcs are fed, clean and warm everything else can wait.

A handbag with longish strap around your neck is good to carry stuff in the house.
We hired a wheelchair from red cross as tiring on crutches over any distance.
Accept any offer of help you can get.
Lastly remember its not forever although sometimes it may feel like it.
I agree that your going to need someone to care for the DCs
