I am not allowed to drive as i have vertigo and on medication.

my husband gets home at 6:30am and then i need the car to go to work, can't afford taxi. He could drive me but that would mean waking 2 children.

Get the bus

WorraLiberty · 27/01/2012 12:39

Public transport?

redskyatnight · 27/01/2012 12:39

I assume you've explored the public transport option and it's too far to walk/cycle?

Do you know anyone who could give you a lift?

Other than that I think you have to wake the children - 6.30 is not that early.

McHappyPants2012 · 27/01/2012 12:41

it will mean i am late as i have 20 minutes to get to work and the bus will not get me in on time.

i only uses the car when DH is nights as i get the bus when he is working days

Doesn't the bus make you late on his day shift?

NinkyNonker · 27/01/2012 12:43

Talk to work about a change/allowance in hours for the fortnight?

lesley33 · 27/01/2012 12:43

i think you need to wake the kids. Not ideal, but it is only for 2 weeks.

McHappyPants2012 · 27/01/2012 12:43

no because MIL is down early

i guess i will just have to wake the DC up, and put them into the car in there PJ
