...but then to sit and scoff half of the sweets while cooking dinner. I've hidden the evidence, and shared the sweets out for later so they won't know and difference. Does that make it ok?

I do it all the time.

Only if you can live with it Grin

Perfectly acceptable Grin

avoiding getting caught is the key!

Supposed to say 'any' difference, not and. I'm desperately trying to find the perks to being a grown up, so far eating sweets at inappropriate times is one of them.

Of course it is fine and actually you are being good mum, saving their teeth from too much sugar :)

Don't forget Wine and drooling over Benedict Cumberbatch OP. We have to have some perks Grin

Backtobedlam · 26/01/2012 18:20

True those are definite perks. I was getting jealous of the fact they were relaxing in the lounge with hot chocolates and tv while I had to cook, clean and wash clothes but now I'm getting them ready for bed and going to get the wine out...being an adult has its up side!

You are sacrificing your dental health for theirs. It's very, very touching [sobs]...
