AIBU to find kissing, hugging, telling friends I love them all the time a bit uncomfortable?

Do you kiss, hug and tell your friends you love them whenever u see them or talk on the phone? I have a couple of friends who do this and I feel really mean not feeling very comfortable with people saying things like 'love ya Hun' nearly every frigging day for the slightest thing.

Pisses me off, though, BackForGood, when my daughter kisses and hugs everyone else and I just get "See you!"

YANBU. It seems a little bit fake to me.

Family only hugs - that's the rule.

I hate clutchers.

Fortunately all our friends are grown-ups. It does seem to be very common with the yoof now though. Even up here in dour old Scotland. Hmm

not even read all the posts but has to say bleurgh bleurgh bleurgh

I do not kiss, hug or tell any of my friends I love them EVER

These words and actions are reserved for my family

Oh god I hate that moment when you're not sure if someone's going to hug you, or whether you should hug them! Gah!

I come from a very touchy feely family, and am very cuddly and kissy with my DCs, DH and my DM, but anyone else - ugh! Cringe.

Oh, I hug/kiss/snog anyone I can, frankly. I am a frightful luvvie and I don't get out much.

I don't have sex with them, mind, at least not now I am a boring middle aged laydee.

YANBU. I don't go in for this myself, I have a thing about personal space and people staying out of it unless invited in. I also only kiss family or my two bezzie mates after a few too many Grin
