DH is in A&E, he has been beaten up tonight, he has lots of bruising and they need to drain the blood from his ear and x-ray his neck, apart from that he is alright. I am up and about and have no chance of going back to sleep, I am running out of tobacco and the shop doesn't open for another 2 hours, I do have a good supply of tea though!

I want to jump in a taxi but I can't because DSs are fast asleep.

Please distract me, so I don't smoke all my tobacco or bundle the kids up and take them out into the cold.

Whyme2, I'm glad they caught your DHs attackers, you hear so many stories of them being let off or not being caught, I hope they give him a decent sentence!

Well DH was 'sat' on the attacker when the police turned up so they didn't have to look far.

The attacker was foolish to go for a 6'8" ex night club bouncer tbh. I will be interested to see what sentance he does get.
