To ask..If you 'Freelance" what exactly do you do??

This seems to be a real MN thing. I don't know anyone in real life who 'Freelances' but hear about it loads on MN.

What is it you Freelance in?....just asking.

Translator/Writer/Proofreader - all easy things to do from home (ie you don't need any specialist kit) and things that companies are used to 'buying in'. My other skills in theory would earn me more money, but it's harder to get the work and persuade someone that I could do the job on a freelance/from home basis, whereas that isn't a problem with copywriting.

Would love to know how many languages we have on MN though!

Have you looked at www.peopleperhour.com? I had lots of bits of work from there including song-writing, translations and copy-writing. Not loadsa money but a doorway into freelancing maybe.
