So following on from the Neighbours thread...

Lance and Martin who lived on the Caravan park. Wasn't it Lance's mum who used to turn up every now and again?

Tom and Pippa, Carly who had the mental twin, Steven, Milko, Ruth Stewart I think was Alf's daughter who got pregnant. The evil sister Morag who was a judge.

The numerous tragedies which happened there. Sally had an uncle who turned up attempting to lure her away. Mr Fisher was the head and they had a cool school uniform.

Maryz, that was Pippa! She was a lovely foster mum and then 'bang' it all changed, and nobody said a word! weird.

Havent watched it for years, but my fave was Sophie and Guy Pearce, oh how I hankered after him as a teen. That was my ideal man... off to google him now and no doubt be disappointed with what I find.

Milko was Sally's imaginary friend but it turned out a couple of years back that it was actually her long lost brother Miles that she was remembering and everyone assumed she had an imaginary friend.

Wow, I dont rememebr any of that about Milko and I was such an avid watcher

Ahhh if it was only a couple of years ago, thats why! I stopped watching about the time of Shane/Angel etc

Miles is Sally's brother? Although that does make sense of all the irritating worthiness...
What about Shannon who had anorexia? It's all I can think about when I see Isla Fisher these days!

Oooooh and that brunette girl that lived with Irene, was her name Chloe? She had a scary boyfriend who put bear traps all over Irene's living room floor and then took Chloe to somewhere in the middle of the forest and surrounded that house with bear traps.

When Meg died on the beach watching the sunrise with her head on Blake's shoulder and he thought she was sleeping. (Sob).

I mentioned it on the Neighbours thread but the very realistic storyline where dead Bobbie appeared to Ailsa from the fridge. Genius!

I still have a photograph of Blake's big head on the TV screen . I really fancied having a baby when I was fifteen and calling it Shane, boy or girl. I loved Sophie and coveted her red cycling shorts and white T shirt combo. My own cycling shorts ensemble was off the market and nowhere near as cool.

JaxTeller - Guy Pearce is now a v. cool Hollywood actor (rather than a Hollywood celeb-type iyswim) - how have you missed that that you have to google him to see what he looks like now??!!

I (sadly) have still been watching this...but where's it gone? Since Xmas I can't find neighbours or home and away on ch5. Where are they?!

Didn't Sally have a friend called Mullet who got his name by his hair cut. I remember a Hadyn but can't remember who. I remember Irene constantly turning up drunk before they changed her to a lovely character who became a foster parent too.

Home and Away always takes a break over Christmas. It started again this week. Cannot wait to go on maternity leave to start watching again. Love it!

ah... was it Carly? The older girl with long ringlet curly hair? Maybe it was her... One of the original cast I think.

Remember Selena and that mad cult leader Saul? He kidnapped her and had her handcuffed to the back of his motorbike and there was a road chase.

Irene was surrogate mother for her daughter (finlay?) and Saul kidnapped the baby and had him hidden away on his cult farm.

Fisher had a complex relationship with his son - was it Alan?? Alan had a blood clot on the brain and could die any time.....which he eventually did. Bobby and Alan were very close but didn't know they were half brother and sister.

Bobby read's Alan's letter:

Curtis had a girlfriend who died who he always longed for until he fell in love with a girl who looked just like her (who was blatently the same person)

Sophie was going out with Blake and I was so jealous because (at the age of about 12) they seemed like the ideal couple to me. But then she went and messed it all up when she kissed Haydn and they split up. Soon afterwards she got up-duffed by David who was a teacher at the high school (played by Guy Pearce who played Mike the teacher in neighbours - he must've looked like a teacher).

This was so my era of H&A... I was so upset when David got killed in a crash caused by stupid Revhead and Blake's stupid sister Karen. Poor Sophie was left alone and preggers.

Have just read on Wikipedia that when she returned for the 150th anniversary of summer bay she and Blake got back together! I knew they belonged together .
