Can they? Do they?

Still got some baby weight to lose but just expected my hips to go back ... will they?

Or is it just bum fat stopping the zip from going up? Grin

Yes, they do. Took a good 8 months though! Was a momentous moment when I zipped up those pre-pregnancy skinnies again

Probably still a bit of lard, but I've certainly changed shape and am more hippy than I was. Not sure if that's my actual structure or where I carry weight has changed.

My body is general has totally changed. I prefer it to be honest as used to look like a pigeon (big belly, no bum, skinny limbs) I look a bit more normal now!

Excellent news SimoneD!

My fat blast DVD is still in it's lovely wrapping ... maybe time to open it and watch it.

Not ready to actually partake in the exercise just yet! Grin

A pigeon! Grin - that was me too!

Still looking a bit Christmas turkey-ish at the moment :(

Yes, dont panic, it does take a while. Found the old saying of 9 months up and 9 months down was really true for me. Back to normal now thank god but remember getting a bit down about it about 6 months after dd was born.

And get that dvd out the wrapper. The 30 day shred really kickstarted things for me - made a big difference!

Mine didn't. But I had severe SPD during both and my pelvis was ripping apart. I've now got a rotated hip as a result. I can feel my hip bone as it's not fat making them wider. All my trousers are loose in the waist but I need a bigger size to get them over my hips.

If you've not had any problems like that then they will go back to normal. One of the girls I work with had 2 babies within 3 years and they were big babies. She lost all the weight and her hips were fine after only a few weeks each time. She's having to get new uniform as the size 8's are too big !

By the way NM2B my youngest 'baby' is now 4! Give it time, enjoy your baby, stay healthy and wait for your body to settle, once settled you can then tackle it all with gusto!
