I think I've been a bit friendly for my own good really.

I have been having a nice, gentle PMing rship with another member, but it's gettong a bit close for comfort. I've not met her, although we live within15 miles of each other.

It's just banneder for me, you know, how are you, how's it all going, have you seen this thread sort of lols. But I think she's getting a bit needy now - offered me her moby number "Just in case".

I had a great get-together with someone I met originally on a forum.

We had stuff in common, PM'd, ended up exchanging email addresses and finally got to a meet up. It was great! (and we're still in touch).

Either you "connect", or you don't. I don't see the need to start a thread about it. (unless they make you feel uncomfortable).

Well something similar happened to me. I was messaging a mum on another site Netmums and we were planning to meet up with the kids. I gave her my mob number and she totally backed off! I mentioned meeting up again one more time and she made some excuse so I've not mentioned it again for fear of looking like a friendless desperate case. We are friends on FBook and comment from time to time on each others statuses. Most strange.
So just to recap I'm not weird I don't think but imo you are for being weirded out by a phone number.
